- Executive Bureau
Leading the Foundation With Purpose and Accountability
The Executive Bureau provides the strategic and operational leadership of Morocco Future Foundation. It is responsible for translating the Foundation’s vision into action, overseeing programmes and resources, developing partnerships and representing the institution nationally and internationally.
Composed of five members serving a four-year mandate, the Bureau brings together complementary responsibilities across strategy, international cooperation, programmes, finance and communications.
A Governance Model
Built on Shared Responsibility
General Assembly
The Foundation’s highest decision-making body. It approves the overall strategy, annual priorities, budget and institutional reports, and elects the President and Executive Bureau. It meets annually, with extraordinary sessions convened when required.
Advisory Council
A consultative body bringing together experts, academics and thought leaders in foresight, technology and public policy. It provides scientific and strategic guidance, reviews key orientations and contributes expertise to research and learning programmes.
Foresight Committees
Specialised working groups formed around specific strategic questions and priority themes. They contribute research, analysis and recommendations, and support selected programmes, workshops and foresight initiatives.
Active Members
Individuals and organisations contributing to the Foundation’s mission through intellectual, scientific or institutional engagement. Members may include universities, research centres, public and private institutions, associations and professionals committed to foresight and long-term development.

Understanding How We Are Governed
The Foundation is governed through complementary bodies with distinct responsibilities: the General Assembly, the Executive Bureau, the Advisory Council, Foresight Committees and Active Members. Together, they provide strategic direction, operational leadership, expert guidance and institutional participation.
The Executive Bureau is responsible for implementing the Foundation’s strategy, overseeing programmes and financial management, representing the institution and supervising national and international partnerships. It is composed of five members serving a four-year mandate.
Decisions follow the procedures defined for each governing body. The General Assembly decides by majority vote, while the Executive Bureau may reach decisions by consensus or majority of members present. Electronic voting may also be used when necessary.
The Advisory Council provides scientific and strategic guidance to the Executive Bureau. It contributes expertise, reviews strategic orientations and supports the intellectual and technical quality of research and learning initiatives.
The Foundation applies formal financial and reporting processes, including documented income and expenditure, periodic financial reporting, annual review by the General Assembly and mechanisms for internal and external oversight
