A Strategic Response to a Changing World

Across the world, technological disruption, climate pressures, demographic shifts and geopolitical realignment are reshaping the context in which governments, businesses and societies make decisions. The pace and complexity of these changes increasingly challenge planning models built around short-term horizons and linear assumptions.

Morocco Future Foundation was created in response to this reality. We work to strengthen Morocco’s ability to identify emerging signals, explore plausible futures and translate foresight into strategic insight that can inform institutions, decision-makers and long-term national priorities.

A Generational Project

Morocco Future Foundation was founded on a long-term conviction: building foresight capacity is not a short-term initiative, but a generational effort. It requires institutions, knowledge and capabilities that can endure beyond individual mandates and respond to change over time.

Our ambition is to contribute to that foundation by strengthening strategic thinking, developing future-oriented capabilities and creating the conditions for successive generations of decision-makers, researchers and leaders to engage more effectively with uncertainty and long-term change.

Understanding Morocco Future Foundation

Morocco Future Foundation is an independent Moroccan strategic foresight institution. It operates as a non-profit association and works with public institutions, businesses, universities, civil society and international partners while preserving its analytical independence.
Strategic foresight is a structured approach to understanding long-term change. It examines emerging trends, uncertainties and possible future scenarios to help institutions prepare for different outcomes and make more informed decisions today.
The Foundation works across six foresight fields: technology, environment and climate, economy, society and culture, urban and territorial development, and security and geopolitics. These areas reflect the major transformations likely to shape Morocco’s future.
We engage with public institutions, private-sector organisations, universities, researchers, civil society, experts and international partners. Our approach is designed to bring different perspectives together around long-term strategic questions.
Our work combines foresight research, data and digital tools, institutional capacity building, strategic dialogue and international cooperation. The objective is to turn future-oriented analysis into useful knowledge, stronger capabilities and better-informed long-term choices.
Collaboration can take different forms, including research partnerships, academic cooperation, training, strategic dialogue, joint initiatives and international knowledge exchange. Partnerships are formalised in line with the Foundation’s objectives and governance principles.
